Saint Anthony Mary Claret was born in december 23rd in Sallent, Spain.

Priestly ordination
With the ministry he received, he began an intense popular missionary work in Catalonia and other regions of Spain.
1849
Foundation of the Congregation
On July 16, Claret founded the Congregation of the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Vic, Spain, together with his brothers Fr. José Xifré, Fr. Esteban Sala, Fr. Domingo Fábregas, Fr. Manuel Vilaró and Fr. Jaime Clotet.

Archbishop of Santiago de Cuba
Claret is appointed Archbishop by the Spanish monarchy, where he promotes social, educational and pastoral reforms.
1857
Confessor to the Queen
He was appointed confessor to Queen Isabella II and returned to Spain, becoming more than just a confessor, striving in every way to continue proclaiming the Gospel. He was a vital support to the Queen during the difficult times she faced, remaining by her side at all times, enduring criticism, mockery, and slander.

Death
Claret died in exile, in Frontfroide, France.

Beatification
Saint Anthony Mary Claret is beatified by Pope Leo XIII.
1950
Canonization
On May 7th, Saint Anthony Mary Claret was canonized by Pope Pius XII.
