After having directed the San Carlos and San Marcelo Seminary College of the Archdiocese, the Claretian missionaries in Trujillo began the construction of what would become the new Claretian College of Trujillo.
Educational activities begin. The school is inaugurated with the presence of Monsignor Federico Pérez Silva, C.M., Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Trujillo. The building houses the Missionary community and three U-shaped pavilions, with classrooms on the first floor and boarding rooms on the second.
Construction work begins. The missionaries demonstrate their humility and vocation by participating in this project.
This new project allows us to further promote sports in our school, later achieving important accolades at the regional and national levels.
We hosted the traditional Inter-Claretian Basketball Championship, which is held every year at each Claretian school in Peru.
